The hotel had a warm and friendly staff, notably Melissa who welcomed us eagerly. While the room was decent and came stocked with necessary amenities, some areas needed better cleaning, revealing hair on the sheets and an overall neglected appearance. Still, it offered great value.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, making for a restful night after days on less cozy mattresses. The mini fridge and microwave were great conveniences, and the breakfast offered decent options including American pancakes. Unfortunately, check-in took over an hour, and the housekeeping staff was slow to respond to requests, which detracted from the overall experience.

the baymont is super convenient to the university and nearby food and shopping. the seasonal pool is a nice touch, great for relaxing after a long day. the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful during my stay.

Tuscaloosa's food scene is a treasure! Grabbin' a burger at Whataburger was a highlight—juicy and oh-so-satisfying. Milo's Hamburgers next door was a close second with its unique Southern flair. Plus, the location was spot-on for gameday vibes! The breakfast options at the hotel weren't too shabby either.

Now for a wink at the flip side—the floor could've used a good scrub, and a little comforter on the bed would've been nice. The internet was slower than a slow-cooked BBQ. I had to work it out with the cable TV which didn’t even have ESPN. Still, we made it work!

Had a great time with friends! We explored the Black Warrior River on the Bama Belle, which was amazing, and took in a game at Coleman Coliseum. The rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Recommend checking the breakfast options. they were decent. Overall, a solid choice for a fun getaway.

We had an issue with the small space in our King room. It felt cramped for our group, and there wasn't much storage for our stuff.
